The extension of ClusterVision’s Premier level of Partner Direct accreditation will bring new levels of project scalability, solution efficiency, and service quality to academic and industrial customers across Europe.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 19 March 2012 — ClusterVision, specialist in high performance compute, storage and database clusters, has announced that its Premier Partner Direct status, the highest achievable level of Dell partner recognition, has now been extended across all of its major mainland European business areas. As of 2012, ClusterVision’s Premier Partner status now covers Germany, France and the BeNeLux countries, with the United Kingdom anticipated to follow shortly, therefore completing a consistent Premier Partner status across all of the Company’s key mainland European territories.
The Dell Partner Direct program is a worldwide network of accredited channel partners, and is awarded at levels of Registered, Preferred and Premier status according to the solution capacity, technical credentials and quality of service offered by each partner. By aligning with a select group of commercially and technically credible partners, the program aims to add customer value through improvements in the scale and quality of the solutions provided. In addition to a geographic spread of technical expertise regarding Dell solutions, the Partner Direct program also aims to bring customers closer to qualified experts, who are able to provide an agile and personal response to their HPC needs.
ClusterVision has an established and successful history in the design, build and management of HPC clusters based on Dell technology, most notably the various generations of the Dell PowerEdge server range, but also with Dell storage, interconnect and other components. Academic sector installations such as the 38.8 Tflops cluster at the University of Bordeaux, and the energy efficient cluster system at the Technical University of Ilmenau are testament to ClusterVision’s innovative design approach based around Dell technology. ClusterVision also increasingly deliver Dell-based HPC cluster systems to commercial customers in industry sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and energy. Ceres Power Ltd. the UK manufacturer of green energy heating products, run their chemistry and structural simulations on a Dell server based cluster, designed and installed by ClusterVision.
ClusterVision’s Premier Partner status has been awarded in recognition of its established and continuous level of commitment to the provision of Dell solutions, together with the certified achievement of its customer facing Sales and Engineering teams to the highest levels of product knowledge. The various ClusterVision country teams have successfully completed a number of training programs for Dell servers, storage and networking technologies, and are able to offer a consistent, Europe-wide first-line support to a high standard.
ClusterVision is one of just a select few Dell partners to achieve Premier status across all of its focus geographies, and is the first to be appointed a dedicated Dell Global Account Manager. In this new role Eric van Riet will work hand-in-hand with the ClusterVision team to significantly impact a number of critical solution areas. Increased solution scale, internal coordination, new technology benchmarking, and system delivery time are just some of the areas where customers will see a direct benefit.
