ClusterVision Achieves ISO 9001 : 2008 Accreditation

ClusterVision, specialist in supercomputer clusters, is pleased to announce that is has been awarded ISO 9001 : 2008 accreditation by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (QLRA), a recognition of the excellent standards of management and quality assurance at ClusterVision.

In his final report, the auditor from QLRA, commented: "In general, a well-functioning quality assurance system has been implemented; the primary process is very well assured with much attention to communication internally and with customers".

ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9001 is maintained by ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies. Some of the requirements in ISO 9001 include

a set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business;
monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
keeping adequate records;
checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness; and
facilitating continual improvement.
