ClusterVision Wins Deloitte Rising Star Award
ClusterVision, specialist in supercomputer clusters, has been awarded the Deloitte Rising Star "Runner Up" Award. The jury praised ClusterVision for its consistent year-on-year growth and expressed great expectations for ClusterVision's future. "While operating in a traditional market, ClusterVision has achieved substantial turnover figures. Clustered systems have a great future because demand for compute power at reasonable cost is growing. I am proud to have a company like ClusterVision in the Netherlands. (...) We think this company has well deserved this award.", commented jury member Rhett Oudkerk Pool from Kahuna. First-prize winner was Solland Solar, manufacturer of solar cells. Third-prize winner was biotech company Synvolux.
The jury, comprised of Robert Schiering (TomTom), Wim Hulsink (RSM E-ship), Rhett Oudkerk Pool (Kahuna) and Coen van Duiven (Henq Invest), had nominated ten companies who were invited to the final selection round. At an event on September 30th at Castle Vanenburg in Putten (Netherlands), each of the nominees gave a three-minute presentation and answered questions from the jury in front of an audience of fellow-entrepreneurs, bankers, investors, accountants, supporters and press representatives.
"This Rising Star Award recognises the enormous growth ClusterVision has gone through in the last five years. It has again confirmed that our focus on technology, services and customer care is the right one. ClusterVision has a fantastic team of dedicated and professional people, without whom we would not have been able to achieve these year-on-year successes", commented dr ir Matthijs van Leeuwen, Sales Director and co-founder of ClusterVision.
