 Job Description

We have a position available for an enthusiastic quality assurance engineer. You will be responsible for testing and validating our Linux-based cluster management products and making sure that our products meet the highest quality standards. Your goal is to make sure that the end-user has a good experience using our products. Among other aspects, this involves identifying ways for end-users to misuse a product.

You will work closely with the development team to make sure that issues are being addressed adequately. Also, you will provide feedback and suggestions to the development team to help them improve the end-user experience.

In addition, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automated test suites.

There will be ample opportunity to develop your skills and to take initiative. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest hardware (e.g. GPUs and high speed interconnects such as InfiniBand) and will become an expert at large scale cluster management.

 Required and Desirable Skills

Testing
You have excellent analytical skills and have a good understanding of the entire software development process. You have a good understanding of how software works internally and have a talent for discovering ways to break it.

You are familiar with Perl, Unix shells and related tools (e.g. grep, awk). Furthermore, you possess excellent problem solving skills and you are eager to learn and use new technologies.

Experience with formal testing methods, software testing tools, high performance computing and system administration would be beneficial, but is not strictly necessary.

Linux
Our supercomputer cluster operating system and software environment is based on Linux. You should be familiar with the GNU/Linux Operating System. In addition, you are familiar with the most common software that is part of a typical Linux installation.

General Skill
ClusterVision is a young but rapidly growing company. We require people who are not only very skilled, but who are also flexible, reliable, can take initiative, can deal with responsibility, and have a "can do" mentality.
