Furthermore, you will also take part in the development of several Perl-based tools and applications.

There will be ample opportunity to develop your skills and to take initiative. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest hardware (e.g. high speed interconnects such as InfiniBand and Myrinet) and cluster software technologies such as parallel filesystems and grid middleware.

 Required and Desirable Skills

Development
You are a strong Perl programmer and you are familiar with Unix shells and related tools (e.g. sed, awk). Furthermore, you possess excellent problem solving skills and you are eager to learn and use new technologies.

Experience with high performance computing, beowulf clusters, high availability, PHP, XML, and creating RPMs would be beneficial, but is not strictly necessary.

Linux
Our supercomputer cluster operating system and software environment is based on Linux. You should be intimately familiar with the GNU/Linux Operating System from a system administrator's perspective. In addition, you are familiar with the majority of open-source software that is part of a typical Linux installation.

General Skill
ClusterVision is a young but rapidly growing company. We require people who are not only very skilled, but who are also flexible, reliable, can take initiative, can deal with responsibility, and have a "can do" mentality.
